Aromatherapy Machine
rescued leather, copper, wood, plastic tubing. Pumping the bellows attached to the side of this machine activates air that flows through a series of connected tubes and releases different combinations of essential oils into the atmosphere.
3/4 view of Aromatherapy Machine. Sheer hand dyed silk in black and mottled plum cascades to the floor. Dense rows of 2 foot long fingerlike fleshy colored taffeta hang down from the machine, they are stuffed with dried lavender and rosemary.
The machine has clear tubes branch through sewn sculptural black leather, weathered wood and copper fittings. These tubes dispense different combinations of essential oils when the machine is pumped.
